A truly special oasis of green within the ruins of an ancient church, smack bang in the middle of the City of London has been tenderly and creatively taken into use by a community of locals and City workers. The space hosts low-key, low-impact community sessions, from tai chi and yoga, to life drawing and bring your instrument gatherings. Whilst informal and grass-roots in nature, the organisers wanted a bold, human identity that would draw together elements of the buildings history without feeling ‘historic’.
